If the engine management light is on, or there's a known or suspected fault, that needs putting right before any remapping is done. A remap asks more of an engine — tuning on top of an existing problem only makes it worse, and makes it impossible to tell afterwards what caused what.

Is remapping safe for my vehicle?

Will you remap my car if the engine light is on?
No. If there's an engine management light showing, or a known or suspected fault, it needs sorting first. Remapping asks more of an engine, so tuning a vehicle with an existing problem risks making it worse — and afterwards there's no way to tell what caused what. We'd rather turn the job down than leave you worse off.
What vehicles do you remap?

Will it improve my MPG or my power?
